WE ARE
Ar-way a fashion brand producing couture products created by Liberians, prioritizing investing in our community to support the artists of the future. Through STRIVE, the non-profit arm of Arway, 100% of profits generated from Arway Accessories and Arway Kids help fund our education and economic development projects in Liberia. Proceeds are donated towards a child's K-12 education in Liberia, and we provide monetary contributions to up-and-coming artisans.
OUR NAME
AR-WAY, in the KRU Language translates to Beautiful. Simply said ARWAY..."Mua Nah" translates to Beautiful...."It's Me"
WE STAND FOR
Economically empowering communities, ARWAY has been inspiring sustainable economic driven endeavors through collaboration with young artistic Liberians since 2015. ARWAY uses Art as a vehicle for social change. The sole objective is to engage Liberian youth in the Art sector; thereby encouraging collaboration with Liberian Artists to create appealing products. The end goal is to create beneficial economic opportunities for all involve while enhancing skills.
To ensure we produced ethically sourced products and sustain our earth we strive to reduce our eco footprint in more ways than one...
1. We recycle ankara and wood from our bags to make products for Arway Accessories and Arway Kids.
2. We ship all products in reusable bags, we know little actions, can lead to big impact.
3. We buy skins directly from local hunters, contributing to their livelihoods. Creating unique one of a kind products for our Kru and Gola collections.
We believe it is important Arway Bags continues to maintain a low carbon emission record; we strive to use materials produced locally or recycled when feasible!
